I'm Juli Murphy, an instructional designer, seeking an instructional design position in a corporate, nonprofit, or government setting. I have a J.D. and an M.S. in Education with a concentration in Instructional Technology from the University of Tennessee. Over the last fifteen years, I have taken opportunities to design, develop, and deliver workplace learning and fiction writing workshops.
With my background in legal analysis and training on intricate legal issues, I am able to translate complex material through chunking to avoid intimidating the learner and to allow easy "digestion" of the content.
Most of my instructional design work cannot be shared. My portfolio here contains my resumé and artifacts in six categories as defined by my graduate program. I have included 17 of my designs as a representative sample of my work. Despite the division into six groups, each artifact demonstrates competence in multiple categories.
